Lozenets is one of the most attractive and favoured vacation destinations in Bulgaria. This is a small village with total population below 1000 people; most of them engaged in the tourist industry. There are few beaches in the village, all of them beautiful and surrounded by greenery. “Malkata Dupka” beach (meaning the “little hole” in Bulgarian) is a small one. No good path leads to it; however it is an advantage as little people go there. The Central Beach – this is again one of the most beautiful beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea. The beach strip is quite spacious and the water is crystal blue. There are rocky formations in the one part of the beach and tourists can dive there or just take a walk around them. These rocky formations reveal a fascinating view toward the beach. The sand is fine and goldish. Big portion of it is occupied by paid parasols. Yet, there is little space left for tourists to place their own parasols. There are eateries around the beach. It is very specific for the village that pop folk tunes are very rarely played here. Big house music parties take place here every now and then.
