The beach holds the name of the camping site that used to be there some time back in the past. Now on that place expensive and eye-pleasing hotels have been erected. The beach strip is amazing. There is fine and goldish sand in one part of it while the other part is slightly rocky and well suited for lovers of diving and those who hunt for mussels and rapanas. It is kind of a problem that in order to get to this part of the bay which is connected with the one of Smokinya camping site, one has to walk for quite a time, for the newly built hotels do not give access to outsiders. There are parasols with chaise lounges on the beach which are quite expensive, but there is also place you can put your own towel. Water is clean, warm and shallow. The bay is a truly fantastic place.
